When I look at my garden, or other gardens, I often forget about that ever-present color that takes the back seat to the bright or subtle shades of the blooms. As the garden matures, those colors are replaced by brilliant greens. Green is its own rainbow of color–

sunlight and shade–emerald and peridot

shades of green and white

Green spires

Delicate Strength

Blue green

Shadows of Green–food for thought

Tough Ruffles

Evergreen Berry Green

Pine for Green

Proverbs 11:27-28

New American Standard Bible

27 He who diligently seeks good seeks favor,
But he who seeks evil, evil will come to him.
28 He who trusts in his riches will fall,
But the righteous will flourish like the green leaf

  1. Paula, what a gorgeous collection of photos. Honestly, looking at them I could breathe better. Isn’t that strange? Just the thought of green and the earth and the natural environment stirred in me a peace not of this world.

    Happy Tuesday,
